# Games on Paper

Put down the electronics, grab a pen or pencil and piece of paper and let your creativity soar with traditional games. These games don’t drain your battery or data usage and can be completed virtually anywhere! Try these on a plane, in a long car ride or in between class for classic fun.

We suggest using the Paper Mate Clearpoint Colour mechanical pencil set so that your games can be vibrant and colourful and if you make a mistake, it can be easily erased.

Tic-Tac-Toe:

To play:

• Draw a grid on your paper of two vertical lines dissecting two horizontal lines.
• Player one puts an X in a box; player two proceeds to put O’s.
• The point of the game is to get three of your marks in a row.
Connect the Dots:
• Draw rows of dots, separated by a good centimetre, in a grid of 10 by 10 columns.
• Each player takes a turn connecting one dot to another adjacent dot horizontally or vertically, one move at a time.
• After a while, the board begins to fill with a series of horizontal and vertical lines, some connected, some not.
• When a player draws a line that forms a square, that player fills the square with his first initial.
• The player, who drew the closing line on the square, gets another turn.
• The winner is determined by who has the most squares with their initials inside of them.
MASH:
• The first player (“the fortune teller”) writes MASH at the top of the paper. Those letters stand for mansion, apartment, shack, and house.
• The fortune teller then thinks of a few categories: spouse, car, job, number of kids, salary – anything that can showcase the future of the other player.
• For each category, the fortune teller writes down at least three choices in for the other player.
• When the choices are finalized, the fortune teller will come up with a creative way to pick a number between one and ten. The fortune teller will eliminate the number of the choice that matches the number of chosen from one to ten, until there is only one choice per category
