Literature can take us to a place we never knew existed. Share your thoughts with your favourite author on a piece they have written. Whether its words of praise, comments on their themes or a simple discussion, write a handwritten note to share your thoughts. Picking your favourite Author!

If you love to read, it can be a challenge to narrow down your author selection to just one or a few authors. When you are choosing an author, make sure you know why they had such an impact on you and why you felt so strongly about reaching out to them. They will appreciate the gesture!

Choosing Topics to Discuss!

Before beginning your letter, be sure to have an idea of what you want to talk about. This could be your love for a certain novel series they’ve created, something they did that inspired you, or asking them unanswered questions you have about their work!

Address It!

Sometimes addressing letters can be confusing so we’ve included an example for what you need to know. Your recipient’s address goes in the middle of the envelope. Write your address in the top left corner and stick a stamp in the top right. Make sure to write clearly and use your Paper Mate® InkJoy®Gel pen to address in confidence!
